O primeiro filme dirigido pelos Irmãos Coen é uma brilhante história sobre a esposa e o amante que fogem do marido, que por sua vez, contrata um assassino para ir atrás deles, mas dá tudo errado para todo mundo desde o começo. Ótima trilha sonora.
The very first film directed by the Coen Brothers is a brilliant work about the wife and her lover, who run away from the husband. The husband hires a killer to go after them, but things go terribly wrong for everybody from the beginning. Great soundtrack.

A trama principal foi baseada em Depois Daquele Beijo, de Antonioni. Este filme é claustrofóbico, urgente e você nunca sabe o que vai acontecer. Pessoalmente, um dos meus favoritos de toda essa lista. Uma das jóias mais preciosas de Brian de Palma.
The main plot was based on Antonioni's Blowup, this film is claustrophobic, urgent and you never know what is going to happen next. Personally, one of my favorites in this whole list. One of Brian de Palma's most precious jewels.

Outro grande tributo de Brian de Palma para Hitchcock. Este filme mistura Psicose e Janela Insdiscreta (basta ver o poster), ele até tem a sua própria versão da cena do chuveiro.

Cassandra's Dream (2007)
Veio atrás do sucesso de Match Point. Nem se compara ao antecessor, mas o filme se salva por ter Ewan McGregor e Colin Farrell que têm uma ótima química como irmãos. Tom Wilkinson também está ótimo como o tio rico. Mas o final é meio previsível.
It came behind the success of Match Point. It doesn't get much close to it's predecessor, but it's saved by Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell who have a great chimestry as brothers. Tom Wilkinson is also great as the rich uncle. Yet, the ending is kind of predictable.

Tom Cruise é um vilão, mau, sem ser exagerado, pelo contrário, ele até é bastante contido quando precisa ser. Um típico homem de negócios. Acontece que o seu "negócio" é matar pessoas. Jamie Foxx também está excelente como o taxista que é contratado pelo personagem de Cruise para encontrar suas vítimas. O ótimo ator espanhol Javier Bardém faz uma ponta como o contratante de Cruise. Michael Mann é com certeza um dos melhores diretores de ação da atualidade.

Claramente feito por um fã de Hitchcock, mas também claramente sem o talento de outros de seus fãs como Brian de Palma, Roman Polanski, Almodóvar ou Mel Brooks. Mas ele sofre da única coisa que um bom suspense não pode sofrer: Previsível desde os primeiros minutos.

Mais um 'noir' como os filmes de Billy Wilder (Crepúsculo dos Deuses, Dívida de Sangue, etc). Mas ainda assim, tem um suspense bem típico de Hitchcock, o que me fez colocar esse filme nessa lista também. Ótimas atuações de todo o elenco, Guy Pearce, Kevin Spacey, Russel Crowe, Kim Bassinger e James Cromwell.
