Gone Girl (2014)
A great film, with some really acting especially oddly enough, Tyler Perry.
However, you may need a cold shower after watching the movie. I know I did.

Pompeii (2014)
It's basically, Titanic with volcanoes. Trust me, it maybe cheesy but it's not that bad of a film.

As far as films go, the movie is pretty decent. I especially liked Smaug, the dragon.

Nightcrawler (2014)
"And remember..... You saw it here, first."
Imagine, if you will a crazy, dark, and lurid hybrid between American Psycho, Fight Club, Network, Drive, Taxi Driver, Videodrome, and Broadcast News, and you'll be barely scratching the surface of the film.
It's a fascinating film, with great performances by Jake Gyllehaal, Rene Russo, and Bill Paxton.
You'll feel kind of creeped out, if not uncomfortable after watching the movie.
