After all the hype around this, 'The Interview' still turned out to be quite funny, despite what a lot may say. Controversial? I guess, but not a whole lot. James Franco is THE MAN here, as he is usually just a side note to Rogen. I can safely say he's never been funnier. This may not bolster continuous laugh after laugh like 'Pineapple Express', or most of Rogen's flicks, but it works perfectly well, and I wish I could buy it via disc.

Starting off as your typical found-footage fluff, 'As Above' diverts shortly thereafter, providing scenery that will have any claustrophobic shaking. (I'm one of those people) What's different here are the ideas. I don't much care for the philosophical bonanza shown here, but there are some themes that work, with the visuals to back it up. At the end of the day, 'As Above, So Below' is indeed pretty generic, but somehow, it will stick in your mind much longer than most of it's kind.
