Takes a really, really long time to get moving and even then it's still really, really slow. The cast is strong though, even if Streep and Redford don't have that much chemistry, and it's visually stunning. Worth a look, but maybe have some coffee on hand.

Hilarious, but weirdly insightful, this is one of Allen's finest movies, and a staple in the relationship-comedy genre.

Beautiful visually with some thrilling action sequences and powerful moments, but it's really overlong with too many dull stretches.

There are a few solid moments, and the score is classic, but damn is this a boring movie. I nearly fell asleep several times. How did this beat Raiders?

This is how you do a historical drama. I'm not entirely sure just how factual it is, but it's certainly entertaining as hell. Two great central performances, especially Abraham, strong direction, and wonderful period detail.

While I wouldn't say that I share the love that may people have for the film (it's not particularly original in any regard), it's still reasonably fun with some catchy tunes and a well-rounded cast.

The type of movie that makes you want to take a shower afterwards. There are some solid moments, and McConaughey gives another great performance, but it tries way too hard; always feeling like its just try to shock for shock's sake.

Weird as hell, but still compelling. The cast is great and the cinematography is gorgeous, though at times it meanders way too far.
