Sailor Moon was a huge success with girls everywhere. Our protagonist, despite some of her flaws, is actually pretty likable as she's trying to achieve her goal of having love conquer all. The romance between her and Tuxedo Mask is very captivating, sad, and hopeful despite the obstacles created by the antagonists. A great way for this series to start off on.
