"Chaotic British comedy directed by Michael Winner in which a group of soldiers, as part of an initiation test, are sent out to find a series of eclectic objects for Denholm Elliott. Lots of shouting and running disguises the weaker of the gags but the cast of familiar British talent (Terry-Thomas, Bernard Cribbins, Lionel Jeffreys) all give it plenty of energy, even if it messy and undisciplined. Perfectly fine for a wet Sunday afternoon but won't stay around in the memory long after."
