Most Girls Her Age Simply Jump Rope.

15 years ago at Apr 16 6:03
A simple story of a simple girl who discovers that she can simply leap thru time. But instead of using her powers for good, or even for evil for that matter, she uses it in a manner that we all wish we could if we were so magically endowed (especially if we were her age): to make up time when we were late, to retake exams we didn't study for, to get to our favorite snacks in the fridge before our ... read more

Mamoro Hosoda's best film

All three of his films that said, the other two being Summer Wars and Wolf Children, while neither without flaws(Summer Wars did have too many characters with some better-developed than others and Wolf Children had an at times rushed beginning and ended inconclusively) are great films and near-masterpieces almost as good as the best of Studio Ghibli. Mamoro Hosoda's best film

“All three of his films that said, the other two being Summer Wars and Wolf Children, while neither without flaws(Summer Wars did have too many characters with some better-developed than others and Wolf Children had an at times rushed beginning and ended inconclusively) are great films and near-masterpieces almost as good as the best of Studio Ghibli.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time did get a little too complicated at the end and the character designs lacked the sophistication and detail of the rest of the animation. Speaking of the rest of the animation on the other hand, it's fantastic(something that all three of Hosoda's films have in common) with its luscious watercolour-like backgrounds and beautiful colours. The animation in the time-leaping is so inventive and effortlessly ” read more

My Top 20 Anime Movies (20 movies items)

"The most anime-fans said that "Steins:Gate" has the best time travel story, but to be honest it´s always on my pile of shame.. So for me has the best time travel story definitly this masterpiece of a movie, without a doubt. The charactercs are so real they can be neighbours in reallife, the story is filled with stunning moments and twists and it´s definitly a rewatch classic for me. 11/10. "

Movie But Anime (30 movies items)

"I watched it 3 times already. Which I rarely do. There are these movies that when you rewatch them after years pass, you don't know why u liked them so much in the past. Well, that is the sort of anime movie that u can rewatch after the apocalypse and still think it is the coolest. The movie is warm, funny, mysterious and the characters are so natural as if you can pop to one of them in the street. The plot is epic and the ending is perfect. "

"First Watched 1/17/2018 A pretty interesting film with an equally interesting take on time travel with some funny moments and tear jerking moments. Add that with some sprinkled in references to the original novel and you have a great film and experience on your hands!"
