BAMF

Initial Thought: When I saw the trailer for this I thought it looked like fun. I always tend to like epic fantasy films. After hearing all the bad reviews and feelings for the movie I decided to let it go. Finally I changed my mind and decided to see if I would like this when others didn't. This wasn't that bad. Aside from Jeff Bridges mumbling through out the film, it was actually a worthy piece of Fantasy/Adventure filmmaking. I really liked it. It had that old school appeal when it came to witches and sorcery. Reminded me a little bit of a Nic Cage flick called 'Season of the Witch'. First Viewing Seventh Son is one of those endlessly dull and unimaginative early-year release date dumps that aren't meant for anything more than a midsummer redbox viewing, and that's exactly how I viewed it.
