"Peevy, you'd pay to see a man fly, wouldn't you?" Before comic book adaptations became a dime a dozen in the 21st Century, such ventures were risky gambles for studios. Although 1978's Superman and Tim Burton's Batman were massive money-makers, other endeavours were less successful at the box office. "Re-watch - Aug. 23rd Since I still had my daughter with me and we'd exhausted all the good options from Starz, we switched over to Disney+ to find something to watch and landed on The Rocketeer. And it's still a fun movie despite the obviousness of where it's headed. And watching it I'm reminded that Joe Johnston also directed Captain America: The First Avenger which seems perfect. The kiddo enjoyed it, though possibly not as much as I do. "
