"First viewing - Feb. 14th I was pleasantly surprised a few years ago when I watched Romancing the Stone for the first time I highly enjoyed it, so I figured I'd give its sequel a look. And I should've let well enough alone. The Jewel of the Nile has some fun characters in it, but both Michael Douglas and Danny Devito seem bored at times. Maybe it was just a mistake for them to go with Lewis Teague as director instead of getting Zemeckis to return (or finding someone with similar sensibilities),"
