I have seen four of David Ayer's films and I have enjoyed them all. The trailer really sparked my interest and didn't even spoil anything for me. The cast is full of interesting actors some of which are surprising to see. It's pretty gritty, brutal, and full of gory violence. It seems I have a great disagreement with many of what critics hate. Not expected this from the director. For a title called 'Sabotage' which had one of our times greatest action hero in it the story drags with lots of drama than stunts. Arnold Schwarzenegger is not young anymore and he's not capable of heavy stunts, but still he handled well those crucial parts. No doubt he was good, and also the direction, but the story was not well written. Especially the twist ... read more

An average movie

“I wasn't really sure what to expect from this flick but since I have a weak spot for David Ayer's work, I was quite eager to check it out. Well, after watching this movie, I understand why he had been chosen to direct 'Suicide Squad' and why it turned out to be a failure. Indeed, pretty much like in 'Suicide Squad', it was dealing with a really badass team of lethal misfits but, also just like in 'Suicide Squad', the story was just a huge mess. Apparently, David Ayer argued that the movie had been heavily cut by the studio but I wonder if a longer running time would have been such an improvement. I mean, I was still able to follow what was going on, it's not that it was so confusing, it's just that it was just really poorly put together.
