"I faticosi preparativi per la partenza per il pic-nic con le mogli iniziano con il sacrificio dei sandwich all'imbranataggine di Stanlio e culminano con i problemi alla macchina (il copertone, il motore) che coinvolgono il piedone gottoso dello zio (Edgard Kennedy) e il vicino di casa (Baldwin Cooke). Un'ottima comica con due colpi di genio: il tormentone "Arrivedòrci" (quante volte è capitato a ognuno di noi?) e 'Stanlio, stacca la frizione'."
