"First viewing - Nov. 14th Of course I was going to watch Jeremy Saulnier's directorial debut. I can't say I loved it, but I appreciated what it's going for. It works as a commentary of art geeks, and despite the title and setting on Halloween it's less a horror movie and more of a satire. There are certainly horror elements present, but we spend most of the film watching these characters who are so full of themselves voice ridiculous opinions and argue amongst themselves. It's entertaining, but"
