"10.3.2016 Motorwayn parhaana saavutuksena voi pitää hongkongilaisen genre-elokuvan elpymisen merkkejä. Toki honkkarit ovat alkaneet voimaan paremmin jo vuosia sitten, mutta vasta viime vuosina tuoksuvasta satamasta on alkanut tulla taas kiinnostavia teoksia. Motorway ei tästä huolimatta ole erityisen hyvä elokuva, vaikka Anthony Wong onkin saatu raahattua mukaan. Muutamat vauhdikkaat kaahailukohtaukset tekevät tästä kuitenkin paremman kuin lukuisista Hollywoodin vastineista."
