"Reason why the future sucks: Body modification, is taken to new disturbing and terrifying levels. Long live the new flesh. Year it takes place: Near futurish."

“To be honest, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but since it was directed by David Cronenberg, I was quite eager to check it out. On top of that, not only it was almost a decade since Cronenberg had delivered a new directorial effort but, after more than 20 years, he was also going back to the body-horror genre, the genre that launched his career back in the 80’s. Well, I was expecting something weird and gross and I was certainly not disappointed. In my case, somehow, the most unsettling thing was probably actually this breakfast eating chair but I have to admit that the whole concept of people getting aroused while getting cut or cutting other people was definitely not my thing either. "SCREENING: Regular DATE: September 15th CINEMA: The Prince Charles Cinema LOCATION: West End NOTE: Watched first on iTunes for $20 primarily to save myself from three months of spoilers, through a vomit-coloured filter no less probably by Neon’s mistake."
" Date: 6/3/2022 Viewed: In Theaters First Viewing Note: Since it was announced, I've been looking forward to seeing this film. I had to see this movie on opening weekend because David Cronenberg is one of my top 10 favorite filmmakers of all time. It's so nice to see a film like this being distributed in my local theater rather than some art house theater an hour away from me. It was well worth the wait to see this film. In my opinion, Crimes of the Future is a terrific film. It took me a wh"
