" Finally! A Beavis and Butthead film! Controversial as a TV series, in time people have discovered that it’s a subversive look at pop culture, and it all started with this movie. Beavis and Butthead, go off to get their beloved TV set back, and do America. America may never be the same. Surprisingly, critics thought it was pretty cool and that it like didn’t suck, especially the two dudes on TV, with the thumbs. Audiences, thought it ruled too. The soundtrack featured songs by Red Hot Ch"

“First of all, I have to admit that I haven’t seen many episodes of ‘Beavis and Butt-Head’ in the 90’s but it does make sense since I was living in France at the time and, back then, we didn’t have access to MTV. Eventually, I basically saw it a couple of times when I went to the US a few summers. Anyway, even if I wasn’t really familiar with this cartoon, I always thought that these characters were entertaining and I loved the dark cynical mood (it’s strange that I really never cared about ‘South Park’ though) so I was curious to see this full-length feature. Well, somehow, it took me more than 25 years to see the damned thing but it turned out to be worth the wait. Indeed, even though, in most cases, it is actually rather misguided to expand such stories from short episo” read more

Plot: Our intrepid adolescent heroes wake up to find their beloved television stolen, and embark on an epic journey across America to recover it, and, who knows, maybe even score. "FORMAT: 35mm CONDITION: ★★★★ NOTES: Not much to say about the print’s quality other than looking dusty but clear, but this was a more special presentation than any of us had signed up for - least of all me, given that I suggested that it be included in the PCC’s crime film strand - as before the print we ended up one of the first few audiences in the world to be treated to a 35mm trailer for Paul Thomas Anderson’s Licorice Pizza, per request of the director himself. " Date: 11/27/2019 Viewed: Netflix Re-watch Note: I decided to rewatch this movie on Netflix because it has been ages since I have seen this movie. This movie is still funny as always from start to finish. This movie always has a lot of great funny memorable moments that I still laugh at. People who are not fans of the show will probably won't like this movie as much, but I still love both the show and the movie. Not to mention, the animation still holds up very well."
