Home Alone 4 (2002)
Why I feel this way: Basically for the exact same reason as 'Home Alone 3'; YOU CANNOT MAKE A 'HOME ALONE' FILM WITHOUT CULKIN!
The Cineast's rating:

Home Alone 3 (1997)
Why I feel this way: I thoroughly enjoyed 1 and 2, but this? comon, this isn't even a Home Alone film in my opinion. Not a very good lead actor, and very boring criminals. As a standalone movie, isn't terrible, though.
The Cineast's rating:

Son of the Mask (2005)
Why I feel this way: I don't get it. Why do they always insist on remaking good films? Good question. Son of the mask is just ridiculous.
The Cineast's rating:

Why I feel this way: Do I even have to explain? It's obviously a cash cow, and it obviously stars two actors, who are clearly not Jim Carrey or Jeff Daniels. This should never have even begun being thought about. TERRIBLE.
The Cineast's rating:

Why I feel this way: Bottomline: the first two were good, American Wedding was o.k, and that's it. I didn't hate this per say, but I still wish it wasn't made.
The Cineast's rating:

300: Rise of an Empire (2014)
Why I feel this way: Even if the story was adequate at best, it wouldn't matter. Too much CGI. Especially involving the blood. Actually, it may ALL be CGI. And I don't mind it when used properly, but here, it's just terrible, lazy, and makes it really hard to enjoy it as a bad-ass flick like the first one. Last but not least, it goes nowhere, feels monotonous, and grows extremely boring and mundane very quickly. Hopefully, if it's ever made, the third installment will more than make up for it.
The fight sequences aren't even intense!

The Cineast's rating:

Rambo III (1988)
Why I feel this way: Boring with a very limited amount of action makes this easily the worst Rambo yet. They should have skipped this, and called the most recent Rambo flick "Rambo III"
The Cineast's rating:

Why I feel this way: "Bruce Almighty" was actually pretty good, and also starred Steve Carell. This movie is ridiculous and might be considered entertaining to a 5 year old. I am a big fan of Carell, but this movie shouldn't have been made.
The Cineast's rating:

Rush Hour 3 (2007)
Why I feel this way: Much of the same old, same old Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan humor that I only enjoyed in the first two. This movie was overall a very a big disappointment.
The Cineast's rating:

Jurassic Park III (2001)
Why I feel this way: I loved Jurassic Park one and two. A third one wasn't a horrible idea to start with, but the end result is a very dull/cheesy film.
The Cineast's rating:

Why I feel this way: This isn't a bad film per say, but compared to the original (which I thought was very good), it kinda sucked. I didn't notice anything in this one that I liked in the original.
The Cineast's rating:

Saw V (2008)
Why I feel this way: I thought they were taking it too far after making a third one, and to think they added two more (the fourth was actually quite good however). They pretty much ran out of story to make this installment entertaining, just a bunch of rushed scenes, and very boring for a lot of it. I can't wait for the sixth, ha ha.
