One of the most popular early DOS turn-based strategy games has changed a lot over the years, faded off to obscurity a few times, evolved into different genres, and is slated to bring back the classic retro game 'Warlords' back on the DS in the near future.
Warlords I thru IV were turn-based, while the Warlords: Battlecry series tried to gain traction in the RTS strategy world. And most recently, the series has been reborn as a hybrid RPG-Puzzle game named 'Puzzle Quest', a bit hit on handhelds and later ported to PS2, PC and Wii as well.
