Forwards

Position: Striker
Team: Chelsea
Average Cost: 10.5-12

2006/07: The first signing in the October transfer window. Drogba proved to be a massive success over the Christmas period which helped the Vanguard out immensely as only one other team in the league had him signed at the time.

----- ----- ----- ----- -----
2007/08: Drogba started with the Vanguard this season creating another points vaccuum for the other teams. However, he was injured after a couple of months of playing and was sidelined for the remainder of the season.
----- ----- ----- ----- -----
2008/09: N/A (Drogba proved to be too expensive this year around. He is also still prone to injury and being kited off to the African Nations; so his erratic success wasn't something to be banked on)

Position: Striker
Team: Man United/Everton

2006/07: I took a gamble on Louis as I was relatively new to Football and didn't know who he was. :-S Before I needed to make room for a new goal machine in January, Saha had made enough points to keep us in the running.

2008/09: Gabby reappeared in the Vanguard at the beginning of the season, making enough points to warrant a long-term contract if it wasn't for Villa's awful 2nd half of the season.
----- ----- ----- ----- -----
2009/10: N/A (Agbonlahor has yet to make a splash this season)

This is a list of Premier League footballers that have made multiple and impressionable appearances, over the past few years, in my Fantasy Football Team.

Some for pure skill. Some for absolute power. Others for comedy value. They all served the Vanguard well.
