On Survivor: Borneo, she was a member of the Tagi tribe and constantly clashed with Rudy, after spending nine days on the island. She was deemed as the physically weakest among the Tagi tribe, but she temporarily redeemed herself by winning Tagi their first challenge in Day 6, which required them to eat a live beetle larva. Despite this, the tribe agreed that she will still be a liability in future challenges, and she was voted off third in a 5-2 vote.
Post-Survivor
It was revealed in the Survivor: Borneo reunion show that Stacey had made amends with Rudy and are now friends.
Suing Mark Burnett
In early 2001, she sued CBS claiming that Mark Burnett arranged her exit and orchestrated the show's outcome. It was stated in a 14-page lawsuit, filed February 5, 2001, that two of her fellow tribemates, Dirk Been and Sean Kenniff, were persuaded to change their vote from 72-year-old Rudy Boesch to her.
Stillman wanted restitution for lost prize money, plus $75,000 representing out-of-pocket expenses and punitive damages. CBS and Burnett said in a statement that her claims were groundless. Been supported her allegations. Kenniff told USA Today that the vote was not influenced and Burnett said to "Vote your conscience," but it did not feel to him that was coercion.
-When Stacey was voted out, her torch was already extinguished because of the pouring rain. After she left Tribal Council, the remaining Tagi members were advised to stay at Tribal Council until the rain subsides the next day.
-With her lawsuit, it was revealed that Survivor contestants must sign a gag order that forbids them to spoil the possible outcome of their season, or face a $5,000,000 penalty.
-Stacey's luxury item was a Camera and Film.
-Stacey is the first castaway who tried to make an alliance. This was when she tried to form a women's alliance with Kelly Wiglesworth and Susan Hawk.
-Stacey and Sonja Christopher are the first contestants from California.

From the beginning, Cordy was second-in-command in Pagong. Immediately following B.B. Andersen's elimination, Cordy took over the leadership position over the Pagong tribe. Her first move was to create a new shelter because the hut that B.B. made beforehand was deemed uncomfortable to sleep in. Despite some misunderstandings, Gretchen's leadership was more well-liked than B.B.'s abrasive personality.
After the Day 20 merge, the Tagi alliance of Richard, Sue, Kelly and Rudy deemed her as a threat, and after a confusing 4-1-1-1-1-1-1 vote, Cordy was ousted from the game.
-Gretchen's luxury item was a Toothbrush.
-In the Survivor: Borneo Reunion, they mistakenly listed her last name as Klug, which was actually the last name of her fellow Pagong tribemate, Joel.

During the original Survivor season, Peterson worked only when necessary, and was able to successfully preserve much of his strength until the individual challenges in the later rounds. Although at times it made him appear lazy, he claims that this was part of his strategy.
As a member of the Pagong tribe, Peterson was one of the first Survivor contestants who was forced by circumstance to eat cooked rat for sustenance, and was the very first contestant to remark that cooked rat actually tasted good. In one episode, he made a disparaging remark about women, stating that "Girls are the stupidest things on the planet next to cows." However, his teammate Joel Klug laughed so hard that the comment was attributed to him, and the female members of Pagong voted Klug off at the next opportunity.
After the two tribes merged into Rattana, Peterson (like all the remaining members of Pagong) did not realize that former Tagi members Richard Hatch, Kelly Wiglesworth, Rudy Boesch, and Susan Hawk had formed a voting alliance until the Pagong faction had been outnumbered and outmaneuvered. The Tagi alliance, along with former Tagi member Sean Kenniff, eliminated Peterson in Day 30.
Post-Survivor
He named his youngest son, Gunnar Tiga Peterson after the first season's location, Pulau Tiga. He is still good friends with Pagong tribemate, Joel Klug.
Like several members of the Survivor: Borneo cast, Peterson has attempted to parlay his popularity into an acting career. Thus far, his most notable role has been that of absentee father Leo Thompson, whom he portrayed in 2001 on the CBS daytime drama As the World Turns. Additionally, he made a cameo appearance in The Scorned, which featured numerous personalities from American reality television.
-Amidst the fervor that swept the nation during the airing of Survivor: Borneo, a hacker announced that he had gained access to an area of the CBS Survivor website containing a photo array of the 16 contestants. An "X" was displayed across the picture of everyone except Peterson. This led many to believe that the network had inadvertently revealed Peterson to be the winner. A few episodes later he was voted off, and CBS admitted that its so-called snafu was done purposely to fool viewers and pundits as a way of keeping the true winner's identity secret (the Final Tribal Council, where Hatch was voted the winner, had been prerecorded along with the rest of the season).
-Gervase was nominated in America's Tribal Council in the "Sexiest Male Contestant" category but lost to Colby Donaldson.
-It was rumored that Gervase was short-listed to compete in the show's tenth anniversary season, Survivor: Heroes vs Villains.
-Gervase's luxury item was a Deck of Playing Cards.

Haskell was a contestant on the original season of Survivor. She was a castaway on the Pagong tribe, a tribe composed primarily of young adults, especially when compared to the Tagi tribe. Early on, Colleen was linked with contestant Greg Buis, and fellow Pagong member Jenna Lewis speculated that the friendship had become a romance. Both Buis and Haskell adamantly denied there was a romance, with Colleen ultimately joking that "it was all about the sex."
After the two tribes merged, members of Pagong were surprised by Tagi's strategy of voting them out one by one at Tribal Council. Colleen was the last of the former Pagong members to be voted out.
After being voted out, Colleen told the remaining castaways "Be nice, play fair". She said this just before her torch was snuffed. Once she was gone, Richard Hatch commented that she was "a wonderful person".
Colleen voted for Kelly Wiglesworth at the final Tribal Council of Survivor: Borneo, but Kelly ultimately lost to Richard Hatch.

Sean's claim to fame was initially creating a ridiculously long (not to mention heavy) fishing pole he called "Superpole 2000." His invention became useless when Richard Hatch revealed to be an experienced fisherman, duping Sean in the process.
He became more famous for his "Alphabet Voting" strategy, in which he cast his votes based on the order of contestants' names in the alphabet. He later claimed that he chose the system as a way to vote off members of the opposing Pagong tribe, whose names were all earlier alphabetically than his own tribe, while appearing to do so in a non-deliberate manner. Two times, Sean accidentally eliminated Greg and Jenna in the game using his strategy. With this, the five Tagi members who entered the merge became the final five survivors. Being the only outsider of the core Tagi alliance, Sean was unanimously eliminated 4-1.
Post-Survivor
After appearing on Survivor, he has made acting appearances on The Guilding Light and has appeared as a medical correspondet on various news programs. He was also a CBS Healthwatch Network Medical Correspondent from 2004-2008. Kenniff began the Dr. Sean Show in 2009, a weekly Saturday medical call-in show on WFTL 850 AM Radio in South Florida. In May 2010, Kenniff's novel, Etre the Cow, was published, and it has received some positive reviews.
-Sean's alphabet strategy was referenced during a challenge in Survivor: All-Stars, where the castaways were to answer questions about the preceding seven seasons. This left All-Star Jenna Lewis smirking, being a victim of the strategy herself.

During the original Survivor season she was a fan favorite and even celebrities such as Rosie O'Donnell, were rooting for the working-class, midwestern truck driver, who presented herself as outgoing, open, and opinionated. Hawk seemed to get far in the game by using her secret alliance with Richard Hatch, Kelly Wiglesworth, and Rudy Boesch during a time when other cast members did not yet use alliances, and several even considered allied voting to be "cheating". Hawk liked being viewed as a stupid redneck during the game, and kept her intelligence hidden in order to throw off her opponents.
As the fourth-place finisher, she launched into her "rats and snakes" speech about the top two, Richard and Kelly. In her speech, she said there are only two things on the entire island: rats and snakes. Richard was a snake scouring the jungle for prey and Kelly a rat, who just aimlessly wander around the jungle, and Hawk told the Jury members that they should obey the laws of nature by letting the snake eat the rat. She also told Kelly that if she ever saw her in a desert, dying of thirst, she would not stop to give her a sip of water and that she'd like to see the vultures get her and devour her. This resulted in angering Colleen Haskell and Gervase Peterson, who voted for Kelly. Nevertheless, Hatch still won 4-3.
The "rats and snakes" moment is arguably the most remembered moment in Survivor history, as the season one finale was the highest rated episode of Survivor to date and it was the first time in Survivor that anyone ever expressed such bitterness and anger. Wiglesworth, a whitewater rafting guide, dominated the physical challenges in Survivor: Borneo, winning four straight immunity challenges to propel herself to the Final Two. An original member of the dominant Tagi voting alliance which included Richard Hatch, Susan Hawk, and Rudy Boesch, Wiglesworth later abandoned the alliance.
Wiglesworth went up against Gervase Peterson in a canoeing challenge requiring a designated paddler to retrieve all members of their own tribe. Initially she and Hatch believed her capacities on water would be beneficial, especially since they weren't sure how well Peterson would do under these conditions. The Pagong tribe got out to an early lead and never looked back, which upset Wiglesworth intensely for the rest of the round.
Wiglesworth may best be remembered for being on the receiving end of a harsh speech given by Susan Hawk at the season's final tribal council. Hawk, furious that Wiglesworth had abandoned the alliance and betrayed their friendship, called her a "rat" (as opposed to Hatch's "snake" tag) and told her that if Wiglesworth was lying in the desert, dying of thirst, she would not give her water and would let the vultures have at her.
Although Wiglesworth and Hawk did not hug each other after the final votes were read back in Borneo, the two hugged each other at the reunion and settled their differences.

Wiglesworth went on after Survivor to host Celebrity Adventures on E!. Wiglesworth currently lives on the beach in Mexico where she teaches yoga, trains others to become yoga teachers, surfs and writes.

Richard Hatch competed in the inaugural season of Survivor that was held in Borneo and was placed on the orange Tagi tribe. After his tribe's first two Tribal Councils, Hatch created the most effective strategy (a move that will be heavily copied over the proceeding seasons) - the alliance. He made a pact with Rudy Boesch, Kelly Wiglesworth and Sue Hawk, a decision that proved to be effective on their first try, after Dirk Been became their first "casualty". This strategy would then be the basis for playing the game in future seasons.
After the merge, the Tagi alliance cause even more damage to their rivals, as their first post-merger Tribal Council ended with an erratic 4-1-1-1-1-1-1 vote (with the foursome voting against Gretchen, while the other votes were throwaways). The success of the alliance continued until the members of their former opposing tribe Pagong were eliminated, one by one, until the remaining castaways were the five Tagi members that entered the merge. When the former Tagi members started to turn on each other, their next casualty was Sean Kenniff, the only Tagi that was never part of the alliance, leaving the core alliance of four as the final four castaways.
In the final four, Kelly, the outsider of the alliance, managed to win immunity, ensuring that Rudy, Richard and Sue had to turn on each other. After a 2-2 tie (the first tie in Survivor history), Hatch and Sue Hawk were both in danger of elimination. But when asked to vote again, Wiglesworth opted to change her vote and eliminate Hawk, cementing the end of their friendship. At the Final Three immunity challenge, Hatch chose to eliminate himself early, trusting both Wiglesworth and Boesch to take him to the Final Two regardless of who won. When Wiglesworth won immunity, she did exactly that and voted out Rudy, making him the final member of the Jury.
In the final two, Hatch was accused of being way too cocky and overall an evil person. But it was Hawk's comments that really struck home. Comparing Hatch to a snake, she claimed that she must vote for him as nature intended, because the snake must eat the rat, who was Wiglesworth.
In the end, Hatch became the first ever Sole Survivor in a 4-3 vote, gaining the votes of Rudy Boesch, Susan Hawk, Sean Kenniff, and Greg Buis.

Arrest :
On January 19, 2005, the United States Attorney's Office in Providence, Rhode Island, reported that Hatch had failed to report the $1,010,000 he had received from the Survivor show on his Federal income tax returns (the additional $10,000 was paid for his appearance at the live Survivor reunion after the finale). Hatch also allegedly failed to report approximately $321,000 he received that year for appearances on radio station WQSX-FM in Boston. Prosecutors stated Hatch would be charged with filing a false tax return. An agreement was arranged whereby Hatch was offered a lenient sentence in exchange for a guilty plea. Hatch withdrew from the arrangement. He subsequently said he was basing his defence on his belief (which he now acknowledges was not correct) that CBS had arranged to pay the taxes before awarding him the money.
On August 18, 2009, he was re-arrested and taken into federal custody for granting two supposedly unauthorized interviews (prisoners under house arrest are required to get permission from the federal Bureau of Prisons before any media contact), one with Access Hollywood and another with Rhode Island NBC affiliate WJAR. He had been allowed by the Bureau of Prisons to be interviewed by Today earlier in the day. On September 9, 2009, Hatch's private and ACLU lawyers petitioned for habeas corpus so he might return home for the remainder of his sentence, on the grounds that prison media-access rules apply only in prison, and that permissions are negotiated between the media and the prison so their limitations did not bind Hatch.
On October 16, 2009, Hatch was released from prison after completing his federal sentence, yet still under house arrest.
In December 2011, he was released entirely, making it possible for more Survivor competition.
-Hatch is the only Survivor winner to be announced right after the Final Tribal Council. Starting with Survivor: Australia, winners are revealed right before the live reunion show.
-In 2008, Survivor host Jeff Probst mentioned in an interview that Richard Hatch smuggled a canister of matches onto Survivor: All-Stars "in a little container up his bum." The immediate result was that the Mogo Mogo tribe was able to get fire early on in the game.
-His arrest was referenced by Jeff Probst during Panama's reunion show, when he told winner Aras Baskauskas to pay his taxes.
-Richard is one of seven winners (Along with Ethan Zohn, Jenna Morasca, Sandra Diaz-Twine, Tina Wesson, Rob Mariano and Tom Westman) to play more than once and not be a member of the jury in any season.
-In an interview in Rob Has A Podcast, Hatch claimed that even while being incarcerated, he never missed an episode of Survivor.
-He is the tallest Survivor winner at 6'4" (1.93 m).
