The older Manning bro had a record breaking season, earning his 13th Pro Bowl invite, his 7th First Team All-Pro selection, his 5th NFL MVP award, and a Super Bowl runner up. Widely regarded as the best quarterback of his generation.

Romo is the highest rated on my list whose team missed the playoffs. A 3x Pro Bowler whose last invite was in 2009, Romo had another good season in 2013, leading his Cowboys to an 8-8 record.

Roethlisberger is a 2x Pro Bowler whose last invite was 2011, whose Steelers missed the playoffs with a 8-8 record despite a good season from Roethlisberger.

Newton is highly hyped up, but his play doesn't necessarily reflect it. He recieved a Pro Bowl invite this year, his second overall, and led the Panthers to the Divisional round. He has potential, but he still has a lot to prove.

Brady is a very excellent, distinguished quarterback whose time I believe to be nearly up. A 2013 Pro Bowler (his 9th invite), he led the Patriots to the AFC Championship. However, his performance was merely average this year. He only has a couple of years left, neither of which will be elite.

Luck is a 2013 Pro Bowler (his 2nd invite), who led the Colts to the Divisional round of the playoffs and recieved 2 Offensive Player of the Month awards. Luck is still a young quarterback who has a lot to prove, and I'm excited to see how he develops.

Stafford and his Lions missed the 2013 playoffs. Although many consider Stafford to be a lower-tier quarterback, I view him as a solid option. He isn't an NFL great by any means, but he is a good quarterback.

Palmer is a 2x Pro Bowler whose last invite was 2006. While I believe he can be a solid starter, his play lately has been underwhelming. The Cardinals could find better options.

Glennon was awarded the Offensive Rookie of the Week award twice in 2013. While he has a lot of developing left to do, it's also painfully obvious that he won't be around long if he doesn't develop a lot more.

Since no one else will admit it, I will. RG III is a bust. The Redskins finished last in the NFC East, and Griffin did nothing to prove they should have finished anywhere else.

Fitzpatrick is a journeyman who was just traded to the Texans. His play in 2013 reinforced his play for his entire career, he is a low-end starter.

Tannehill's career has never taken off as planned. A former first round pick, he has never played at the level expected. Without improvement, he won't be a starter much longer.

Henne has always been a backup forced into a starting role. His lackluster play has never been a help to the struggling Jaguars. He probably won't be starting by the end of next year.

Flacco down here will surprise people, but I don't know why. He is, and has always been, a mediocre quarterback supported by a good team. I personally believe his starting days should have been over a long time ago.

Schaub is a 2x Pro Bowler whose last invite was 2012. However, his play has dwindled sharply reecently to the point where his starting days should be over. I expect him to be replaced by the end of the year.

I'm sure this is the biggest surprise. Manning is where he is because of his name. He is lightyears from Peyton, and he must have been delusional to try and turn down a rookie contract for whatever reason. A 3x Pro Bowler whose last invite was 2012, his play has never kicked off to live up to any kind of hype. If he had a different name he wouldn't be a starter at all.

I'll be completely honest, Geno Smith's rookie year was absolutely revolting. Had he been given a chance to develop more, I might feel differently. However, judging by his performance, he needs someone in front of him for a few years.
