The finest adaptation/origin of a comic super hero ever. Nolan created one of the most interesting and dark (Batman) universes in the cinema industry.

I adore your friendly neighbourhood Spider-man as long as I remember and his movies show all his charisma and fun. Excellent adaptations and engaging stories.

When I think of the first 2 Terminator movies I think of true classics, true gems, true masterpieces that cannot be remade better. Best Sci-Fi/Action movies I've seen.

These series of movies defined a genre for me, the Lethal Weapon genre. It's a genre that can't be outdone in the combo of comedy, action, buddy cop and explosions.

The Alien series, the perfect mix of thrilling suspense, horror and action... in space.

You won't easily find a better combination of fluid animation and music than the one presented in the Kara no Kyoukai saga. Pure beauty, engaging story.

The Matrix (1999)
Daring and revolutionary considering it's a "modern classic" as I see it. Entertaining and thoughtful, something I really appreciate in a movie. Though it's one of those franchises that spawned not-so-good sequels.
