The series started slow and mediocre but the last 3 episodes (of 6) were really good. It's made in the style of film noir and I love it.
Unfortunatelly there will be no second season!

The X Files (1993)
Watched: All episodes and seasons with D.Duchovny (as Fox Mulder)
All seasons are available since 2016 in a restored and remastered HD-edition on blu-ray discs. I watched the first episode and it's amazing how much better the picture quality is compared to the DVD.

Sanctuary (2008)
Watched: seasons 1-2 (then I stopped watching)
I was astonished how beautiful Amanda Tapping was (known from the TV-series "Stargate") with her long black hair. After Emilie Ullerup (as Ashley Magnus) quit the series, due to cancer, the series was not the same any more. New characters appeared that didn't interest me. But the first 2 seasons where quite nice.
