A sub-par drama that was saved by the great Adam Scott. The interesting passenger view was enjoyable as well.

Born to Raise Hell (2010)

Not horrible, and not great. Just great fight scenes combined with average acting and a not so good story.

Not a whole lot different than Seagal's other new material, but a pretty decent watch. I can tolerate his films, and am one of the few people who enjoy watching him on screen.

Driven to Kill (2009)
Watched on 1/4-5/11
One of Seagal's better movies, while not necessarily a "good" one, still watchable. He plays a former Russian gangster, which I thought was a relatively cool role for him.

I actually prefer Seagal's newer, more cliche stuff over this movie. The acting is just o.k, and the fight choreography is actually pretty disappointing.

Urban Justice (2007)
Watched on 1/6/11
Again, nothing new going on here. Just a low budget, Run of the mill Seagal film, and relatively enjoyable. However, should I have expected much different?

A very interesting film that really makes you think. The plot seems harmless and basic at first, but then it really starts rolling. This is definitely worth another watch, and maybe even a DVD purchase.

I love Michael Cera all the time, but this is one of his forgettable films. It was solid but I don't think I'll be watching it again.

Legally Blonde (2001)
2nd time watching this. Watched on 1/8/11
An extremely "by the books" comedy, but still much better and funnier then I had originally remembered, and a film to be owned.

Not a horrible movie, had some pretty good fight choreography, but the whole plot was by the numbers, and rushed far too much. Not to mention it had sub-par acting.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010)

An enjoyable fantasy flick, mixed in with some pretty solid comedy. I wouldn't highly recommend it, unless you're looking to have some fun with not much substance.

The first time I saw this it didn't really scare me. Probably because I was a young kid, and didn't really understand what the heck was going on. However, after recently giving a re-watch, it actually gave me quite a few scares. It's a very well made mockumentary filled with tons of thrills, and a very realistic way of portraying them.

The Dilemma (2011)

Much better than the critics are saying. having said that, it's not Vaughn's best work, but the dark comedy makes it worth watching, and I'm a huge Kevin James fan, so that helped.

Our Family Wedding (2010)
Watched on 1/24-25/11
Another solid movie that had me thinking about whether the pro critics are really that dependable. I agree, it's a very messy comedy and it's pretty silly. But put all belief aside and enjoy it for what it is.

It seems like movies like this are made on a daily basis, as if film-makers are just giving up and looking for quick sums of cash. Nothing new here, just a predictable "held captive" piece of drab.

I was interested in this purely because of Nicolas Cage's presence, but he was only on screen for maybe a minute. I did enjoy James Franco, but the movie was just too blah blah for me.

A movie with basically nothing new, and you can pretty much tell exactly how it'll end towards the middle of the film. Having said that, it was relatively enjoyable, but I really wish Karl Urban would have gotten more screen time.

Not bad, but nowhere near what I'd hoped for. Woody Harrelson was pretty solid, but the movie really wasn't going anywhere.

You're normal torture/revenge flick, just at a different angle. I was very interested for a good chunk of the duration, then it just got, well, too basic.

Death Valley (2004)
Watched on 2/7/11
One of the most surprisingly good films I've seen in a long time. Don't get me wrong, this is no masterpiece, but I loved it. It's similar to the hills have eyes, where a group of people become stranded, etc. So, if your into stuff like that, this will come as a good surprise. Definitely a must buy (for me at least).

The worst boxing movie that I personally have seen. I've seen mma films that were worse, but boxing wise, AH! not a good flick in the least bit. Well, maybe the main characters were watchable, but other than that, no sir!

A pretty inventive and enjoyable picture, and I thought Ryan Reynolds was really good. It just seemed too general to be a great movie.

My second favorite Rambo film, next to the original of course. The action scenarios are excellent. I can easily watch this over and over again, it's just such a fun movie.

This could've been a good movie, it had the potential, but it took the cliche ridden/easy way out, and it was only suspenseful for a couple scenes, maybe.
