United (2011)
Having never heard the story behind this I can only rate the film from a cinematic standpoint. I have no idea if it is historically accurate or not, but it was moving nevertheless. The elements were there, but I was not "glued to the screen", so to say. A good, emotional sports movie, if that's what you are in the market for.

Let me throw this out there: not all Christian camps are like this, but some of them certainly are! I have been to both and am always blown away by the insanity of it. Good documentary. Some things were blown out of proportion, but that's what documentaries are meant to do.

How I Live Now (2013)
I was a fan of this end of times flick. It was a bit of a different way to look at things, and I enjoyed it. Was it perfect? Of course not, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Nut Job (2014)
Well...this wasn't so good. I love animated films. I mean, LOVE them. And this just didn't hit the mark :/ The characters were cute, of course, but that was about it.

Frankie Go Boom (2012)
Wasn't able to finish it. Usually I have a rule to not rate unless I actually finish a film... but this one was just too bad to not rate.
Lydia's rating:
Extracted (2013)
Better than it's given credit for, but I found it a little bit hard to keep up with what was going on. It could have been executed a lot better, but good idea.

Re-watching this after finishing the book. Right off the bat annoying differences:
1. No Elvis
2. His mother is in an nut house

Reign Over Me (2007)
For Adam Sandler this is damn good. Not his stupid funny go-to character, but one with depth. Heartbreaking and complex. A good drama.
