The Incredible Hulk (2008)
The fact that I don't remember anything about this movie is indicative of my thoughts on it.
Iron Man 2 (2010)
Probably the biggest disappointment in this list. I have only seen it once, so maybe it's gotten better over the years.
Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
A bit of a disappointment. I did see it twice in theaters, though. Maybe because I wanted it to be better than it actually was??
This movie used to be higher in my list, but Winter Soldier set the bar really, really high.
Doctor Strange (2016)
I mean, who doesn't love Benedict Cumberbatch? Doctor Strange is a cool character. Love the supernatural element behind it.
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
Just as funny as the first, though I found Ghost to be irritating. She was cool looking, but she was a bit of a baby. Then again, I didn't really like the actor who played the villain (Yellowjacket) in the first movie either.
Ant-Man (2015)
I love Paul Rudd, so I was biased going on. The movie did not disappoint! Very lighthearted and fun.
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
Tom Holland was perfectly cast as Spidey! Looking forward to Far From Home later this year (2019).
Thor (2011)
Thor was my dad's favorite comic book hero growing up. It was so good I called him directly after the film to set up a time to see it together.
Iron Man (2008)
The one that started it all... and made Iron Man and RDJ the coolest thing in movies.
Iron Man 3 (2013)
Solid and I remember it being somewhat somber. Need to watch again. It has been several years.
Captain America: Civil War (2016)
I recently rewatched the first Captain America because ever since Winter Soldier, the best Marvel movies are Captain America movies (well, besides Guardians of the Galaxy). It is never easy seeing a beloved team break up, but it was necessary for the next phase of the MCU.
I need to see this again. I've only seen it once compared to at least 5 times for Vol. 1. I do remember being very touched at the end. In fact, I am almost certain I shed a river of tears.
It was almost like Bond took over the MCU for a few hours.
Rocket Raccoon and Groot are my favorite characters in the entire MCU. I am a smart ass in real life (see: my profile), so it was right up my alley. In fact, this movie may be one of my favorite films OF ALL TIME. Try to say that without thinking of Kanye West...
Absolutely loved the humor in this film. My man crush for Chris Hemsworth is strong! Plus, Tessa Thompson is sexy AF as Valkyrie.
Great movie, great story, great characters, great soundtrack, great sets. At the end of the movie I turned to one of my friends, who was the best man in my wedding later that year, and told him I wanted my bachelor party to take place in Wakanda.
