Deus Ex: Human Revolution - PC Games
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and the first time through I played on the hardest difficulty and strove for the No Kills & No Alerts achievements. I didn't get either, because the game is kind of buggy with some of those details, but that didn't deter me from wanting to play it again, and this time I don't particularly care if I get spotted or I take a few lives in the process. I'm actually enjoying my second playthough MORE because I'm not placing those arbitrary limitations on my play style. I'm trying to play more organically, like how I think the game SHOULD be played. ie- when Adam Jensen (the player character) is tasked with infiltrating a police station, he avoids killing police officers as he was a cop himself. BUT, when there are gangbangers or mercenaries or hitmen trying to kill him, I feel no compulsion to remain non-lethal, I meet lethal force with lethal force. As I said, I'm enjoying this play style MUCH more.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings - PC Games
I've played through this game a total of FOUR times now. Part of the joy is that there are several branching paths in the game, so I wanted to see what happens when I made different choices. I've also stated elsewhere that I love this game, period. So it helps that I just enjoy everything else about this game.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Nintendo Wii
I loved playing this game, and found it to be thoroughly fulfilling. I'm contemplating playing through again on HERO difficulty. Not so sure about diving into that though... maybe just another playthrough on Normal difficulty will do.
GruntLogic's rating:

Warhammer 40000: Space Marine - Xbox 360
I love just about everything about the Warhammer 40k universe, and this game is up to par with what I was expecting. Playing the game on normal was a challenge itself, and I'm currently in the process of playing through on Hard difficulty. I did manage to get the achievement: The Emperor Protects - Complete Part 1 of the game on Hard difficulty in a single session without dying or restarting. It's tough, but doable. I strangely enjoy just how lethal the game is on Hard difficulty.
GruntLogic's rating:

Planescape: Torment - PC Games
I love playing this game. This is, I feel, the best RPG game ever made. Lovingly crafted, from top to bottom, and I feel HONORED to play it again.
GruntLogic's rating:

Bionic Commando: Rearmed - PC Games
Probably my favorite platformer game. I don't know why exactly I find the idea of playing a cybernetically enhanced soldier so appealing. I think the "lore" of the world is interesting. Kind of a quasi-futuristic world, and you're fighting not-Nazi's (they're totally Nazi's, but with censors being what they are, no swasticas are shown anywhere)
GruntLogic's rating:

The Legend of Zelda - Famicom and NES
I try to play through this game once every year. Just for old times sake. Probably my favorite "old-school" game.

Dishonored - Xbox 360
Just like with Deus Ex: Human Revolution, I'm looking forward to doing a lethal playthrough in this game. Although, in this game I DID manage to pull off the achievements for never being spotted and never taking a life. Nothing wrong with a little bragging, right? Still, I do like how this game actually changes based on whether or not you're leaving a trail of corpses in your wake. And I must say, the non-lethal ends for the bosses in this game are just incredible. Those characters might still be alive, but I'm sure they WISH they were dead. This next play through, I'll be happy to oblige. =)

Half-Life 2 - PC Games
I have to say, I'm really looking forward to my 3rd playthough. I swear I notice something new every time I play this game. I was able to relay the story to my friend of how at the very beginning, when the Combine "Trashcan Cop" tips a can onto the floor and tells you to pick it up and put it in the trashcan, I used to always do what I was told, but this time I saw that there was an option NOT to do it that I wasn't even aware of. I picked up the can and tossed at the cops head. Needless to say, the cop beat the crap out of me, but yeah, you can totally stick it to the man right out of the gate, lol. I love this game!
GruntLogic's rating:

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - PC Games
I've played through this game at least twice now, once as a Light Side character, and once as a Dark Side character. No lie, I actually enjoy playing the good guy in the Star Wars universe much more than playing a bad guy. Not sure why, it's not like it's not fun to be bad, just... I dunno. I guess I grew up idolizing Jedi, so I want to be one, and this game comes pretty damn close to making me feel like one when I do "the right thing."

Resistance 3 - PlayStation 3
I beat this game QUITE some time ago, but I'm looking forward to diving back in with the intention of nabbing a few more Playstation Trophies. I actually really like the post-apocalyptic alien invasion vibe this game has going on. Plus, I really dig using the alien weapons. A machine gun that can fire homing bullets is pretty bad ass, as is the gun that can shoot through cover to hit enemies hiding on the other side.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines - PC Games
Despite having played this game THOROUGHLY my first time through, I still want to play it again. I haven't yet because I know I'm going to want to set aside a GOOD chunk of time just to devote to this game. But believe me, it WILL happen. I like this game too much NOT to play it again.

Deus Ex - PC Games
Okay, so I was late to the party when it comes to playing this game. So this game didn't get its hooks into me when it probably should have. I have had this game talked up so much, I felt kind of let down when I started playing it. Plus, the intro area is so god damned BORING. Having said that, I was able to stick with it, get through the intro, and THEN the game got much, MUCH better! I will admit, when I played the game the first time, I wound up putting all of my points into guns and I was a combat machine (no pun intended). My next playthough, I think I'll try to be at least a little bit sneakier. Still it's going to be hard to get over the fact that the tranquilizer crossbow causes any person hit with it to run around screaming for a good god damn long while before they collapse unconscious, so it's not exactly what comes to mind when I think of "stealth."
GruntLogic's rating:

DOOM - PC Games
I've tore through this game more times than I can count. I suppose part of it is just pure nostalgia, as I can freely admit that the "puzzle" (and I DO use that term LOOSELY) mechanics have NOT aged well. Entirely too much back-tracking and pointless running around. Still, the rest of the game I still enjoy. I still remember the shitstorm this game ignited when it was released. In retrospect, this game actually seems kind of tame and even quaint. Funny how times change.

The ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection - PlayStation 3
I missed playing both of these games when they came out on the PS2, so I relished the chance to play them on the PS3 in this amazing bundle. I loved both of these games, and I look forward to playing them again on their respective harder difficulties.
GruntLogic's rating:

Fallout 2 - PC Games
I've played through this game MANY, MANY times. I always enjoy trying new things. But I still also enjoy playing through in my favorite way. I dunno, I just like turn-based combat to begin with, and this game includes plenty of dark humor and violence to boot. I can see myself playing this game MANY, MANY more times in the future. I just don't think that this game is ever going to get old for me.
GruntLogic's rating:

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - PlayStation 3
Okay, I'll admit, this is a LOOOOOONG game. Especially if you watch all of the cutscenes, which are really almost legendarily long. But I do know for a fact that this game can be beaten in under three hours. In fact, that is REQUIRED if you want to obtain the Big Boss Emblem, also, to get that particular emblem, you have to play on Big Boss difficulty, never get spotted, don't kill anyone, and never use a healing item. Personally, I'm not ever going to try for that, I'll just play at my own leisure, thank you very much. I will say that I HAVE managed to acquire the HOUND emblem, which I'm QUITE proud of. I do have one more incentive to play this game again, because Sony finally introduced Trophies for this game, as this game was originally released before Sony implemented their Trophy system. And being the Achievement/Trophy whore that I am, I'm going to go and try to nab as many as I can.
GruntLogic's rating:

Condemned: Criminal Origins - Xbox 360
I'll admit, I thought this game could be scary as hell. When you're in these dark, creepy areas with only your crappy flashlight and a 2x4, when some crazy-ass hobo jumps out at you from seemingly nowhere, trying to stove in your head with a length of pipe, things get pretty intense. I guess I'm just crazy enough to want to do it again.
GruntLogic's rating:

The Secret Of Monkey Island: Special Edition - Xbox 360 Live Arcade
I love point and click adventures games, and this is one of the best ever made. It's fun and silly. It's as simple as that. I like it. I want to play it again. When I get overloaded with games that take things entirely too seriously, or they're trying really hard to make a statement or send a message, sometimes it's nice to just sit back and enjoy playing silly and funny game.
GruntLogic's rating:

Bionic Commando - Xbox 360
I love the swinging mechanics in this game. I find it thrilling and exhilarating to swing through the air, dodging gun-fire and then landing and wreaking havoc with my whip-like cybernetic arm and ordinance. I haven't played any game quite like it. I'll honestly admit that I've never played any of the Spider-Man games, so I guess this is what the people who love those games probably love about playing as Spider-Man. I guess I just like the idea of playing a cybernetic soldier over playing a superhero.
GruntLogic's rating:

I love the first Knights of the Old Republic, and I love this game too. This game focuses more on Jedi and Dark Jedi more than the first game, and it introduces more depth as far as character interactions go. Still, I like playing as a good guy, even in a game titled: The Sith Lords.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary - Xbox 360
I'll always love the original Halo: Combat Evolved. Period. I'm personally a huge fan of the job that 343 Industries did with re-releasing this game with the option for updated visuals. I love driving around the maps in my indestructible Warthog, with my trusty over-powered pistol at my side, while the bombastic scores of Marty O'Donnell play. I just love it.
GruntLogic's rating:

Halo 4 - Xbox 360
I've been putting off my Legendary playthough of this game, and I'm not sure why. I think this game is superb, and I've beaten every other Halo game on Legendary, so... I guess I don't know what my deal is here. I'll get around to it. Eventually. It's a game that is definitely on my agenda, it's just on the back-burner.
GruntLogic's rating:

Duke Nukem Forever - Xbox 360
Okay, I know this game gets a lot of hate, and it's not entirely undeserved, but I still managed to enjoy myself. I guess I'm just old, but I actually enjoyed playing a game that doesn't have a cover mechanic. It just assumes that you the player have enough brain cells to find something to move behind when fire is coming at you. Call me old-fashioned, but I like that. So, with all that said, I'm looking forward to playing this game on it's hardest difficulty: DAMN I'M GOOD. Although, I've heard that there are a few EXTREMELY frustrating parts... not looking forward to that, so this game can sit on my back-burner, keeping Halo 4 company.
GruntLogic's rating:

Half-Life: Opposing Force (Expansion) - PC Games
I dunno, but I really enjoyed playing a Half-Life game as someone OTHER than Gordon Freeman. I'm not going to lie, I REAAAAAALLY wish Valve would release something that brought back the character you play as in this expansion, Adrian Shepherd. I guess it's just the Marine in me, so I enjoy the idea of playing a Force Recon Marine. I mean, some of the changes were mostly cosmetic, but I thought it was kind of badass that instead of using a crowbar as your melee weapon, you used a pipe wrench. I also loved the fact that you could use the M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon), and I loved this game's sniper rifle, and... man those Alien weapons... damn. Okay, enough wishing for a new game, because I still enjoy playing this one.
GruntLogic's rating:

MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries - PC Games
I love the hell out of this game. Just everything about it, upgrading your mechs, hiring pilots and seeing them improve as you take them on more an more missions, seeing that roster fill up with better pilots and bigger mechs, taking on steadily more difficult contracts, getting bigger and bigger paydays, scoring more salvage, battling in the arena, having the option to take noble and honorable contracts, defending innocent civilians, or you could take unscrupulous contracts, doing some pretty shady dealings with pretty shady people. Plus, MECHS! This game easily has the best configuration options of any MechWarrior game. Period. I just can't get enough. I must have played through this game a dozen times, and there are many more times I'll play it again.
GruntLogic's rating:

These are all games that I have already beaten once, and I have already beat again, or am in the process of doing so, or I plan to do so again.
Seriously, I feel that these are truly great games, given that with my limited time, I feel strongly enough about a game to want to play it again.
