The gaming world was introduced to a hero a soldier that fought alone against impossible odds to save the world. Over time, the hero grew into a legend that changed the gaming landscape and redefined stealth action games with his epic battles. After more than two decades of service, Solid Snake is finally receiving an honorable discharge in the latest chapter in the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Whi... read more

I'm no hero... Never was. I'm just an old killer...
After playing Metal Gear Solid 2, 3 and Portable Ops in rapid succession over the summer, I found myself with the need to seek out and play Metal Gear Solid 4. The continuation of the epic story was all I could think about. That is one of the greatest things about the Metal Gear series, the story is so rich with depth and intrigue that yo... read more

One of my favorite Metal Gear Solid games! I absolutely adore the cut-scenes and stealth, especially the first three acts.

A groundbreaking end to a fantastic series

“Warning: Spoilers

Metal Gear Solid 4 is a fantastic experience that combines the medium of game and film in a never before seen way. It tops its predecessors in audio/visual quality as well as in story telling and dialogue, making the whole experience not only more intense and captivating, but also more accessible to a broader audience. It is impossible to compare Metal Gear Solid 4 to any game out to date, and it will surely take a long, long time until anything as good as this comes along again - if it ever happens.

Even more so than the previous Metal Gear Solid games, this last installment rises above its medium, and becomes more than just a game. People have debated over the question whether games can be considered as "art", and while this is all in the eye of the ” read more

Computer Games Finished (46 games items)

" It's like saying goodbye to an old family member and while the ending doesn't go through with it's depressing subject matter (which actually is a shame!) there is a lot of stuff that makes me happy too - especially the full circle with all the other three games as we meet again old favorite supporting characters and finally end a lot of plot built up through the three games. The gameplay is (as always) excellent and there is a lot of action or sneaking depending on my mood. Intense (and sad) b"

"It should be noted that to get the most out of this game, you really should have played the three Metal Gear: Solid games that came before this. Possibly even the original Metal Gear game on the NES. However, if you have played all of these games, you will be able to get the most out of this amazing conclusion to the Metal Gear story. Hideo Kojima really went out of his way to make sure that each and every single loose end gets wrapped up. The gameplay is superb, as is standard for the Metal Gea"

You Can't Call yourself a Movie Expert if you..... (13 movies items)

"...don't see that computer games is the next art form that has become film. Games are complex and give people chance to live an interactive film if done properly. It includes several great actors and actresses from film who sometimes do things excellent other times poorly (just as in film) and the stories are sometimes deeper and more heartfelt than anything a movie puts out. There is also more creative freedom in a game to create own universes, rules and ideas and there has been several games th"
