Games played in 2016

After I got the timing right, this game turned into so much fun. I've only bumped into a few assholes in many games so the players seem to be sensible ones. This game is really great for when you have 30 mins or so of free time to spent.

Batman: Arkham Asylum was shorter than I remembered, but the story is still really great. The remastering was done good too and it was great experience to play this one again after the years. The gameplay felt a bit dated at times and I died few times because of invisible walls/edges that ruined the stealthing. The cutscenes were really pretty.

First, the best part of this game is the soundtrack. Second best part is the voice acting and the cutscenes. The characters are pretty good and the story so far has been good and it was good to see Vito again. But between the beautiful cutscenes there is way too much grinding because everything outside the main mission path is the same: drive here and interrogate/kill people and do damage to enterprises so higher ranked dudes show up to the same place for you to kill. New Bordeaux is big enough but there really isn't anything to do there except driving long distances to next spot.The collectibles like old playboys, records and pin up paintings and I'll probably skip collecting them.At times the game is really beautiful, and at times it looks horrible. There are low textures and/or the textures will pop up really late, and there is quite a lot of visual clitches that make objects flash/flicker. The drawdistance is way too short and objects are popping in like in earlier last gen's games. The first time using a boat was just funny because along the river thre were alligators popping in exactly the same spot on screen every other second. Driving feels pretty good but the environment is weird when driving you can make bigger cars fly by hiyting them but if you hit a small bush offroad you're so fucked.... I'll update this once the game is over.

** I decided to skip the sidemissions and collectibles. And played through just the main story that is really great. Playing more of the game I came across more of the same problems as before. I also noticed how the weather and day & night-cycle switched really suddenly when driving around. I also had 3 hard crashes in the latter parts of the game.

*Agent Donovan is now one of my favorite side characters ever

Ps4-version. Well this dlc is now the one that I compare future ones to. I just finished my second playthrough of Witcher 3 and this time I played the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine-add ons too. I waited almost a year so I had forgotten most of the game's story and the great sidequests... so this playthrough was basically a new experience. Both of the dlcs were really great and added so much to the game. Blood and Wine was still superior compared to the Heart of Stone, Toussaint is really beautiful setting and overall all of the visuals have been made better. The story and the new monsters and sidequests are really fantastic. Beyond Hill and Dale-questline in the land of the thousand tales is now one of my top 10 gaming moments definitely. The (dark) humor and the visuals are just awesome in there. Also the main villain is written great and he is also really interesting character.

Good story and new monsters and characters. There were some great fights and moments (meeting the Caretaker for example) in this dlc.

The second best entry to this series in my opinion (Uncharted 2 is the best). Nice way for Naughty Dog to wrap this series and Drake's story. Really really beautiful game and the Last of Us' influence can be seen on the story and the way developers tell it (long, well acted cutscenes and little bit darker tone to the story).

Well this game was the reason I finally bought the Ps4. This mage/knight-enchanter-playthrough is the fifth one (full) so yeah... I kinda like this game. At the moment I'm about 30 hrs in.

After this I'll head back to the Witcher-world with the dlc and propably die a lot (the rust has settled in...I intend to play it through on death march, like I played the main game).

The Nemesis -system is so damn good gameplay-system and like the monster fighting in Dragon's Dogma should be added to every game. Okay, maybe not in every game but it's really great. The way that the death moves time forward and the Uruks infighting changes the ranks of Sauron's Army is really great and makes the game's world seem more real and living. For me the game isn't perfect but it's really enjoyable experience. The game doesn't have that much variable things to do but the fighting is pretty great once you get used to it(not as good as Arkham but still really enjoyable) and it hasn't got boring yet after 15 + hours. The story has been good atleast to this point.

*I liked the story to the end quite much like I did the Nemesis-system.The combat system got better as the game went on and I got used to it more and more. The final battle was a bit of a let down with the quick time events but overall this was a really enjoyable game experience for me.

Playstation Plus free game for March of 2016 is really enjoyable and fun times... I played most of this through with my brother and it can be chaotical fun even with 2 players so the 4 player co-op is probably just insanity.

*This is really fun times wit couch co-op but there is quite much performing issues so the rating has gone down a bit.

This feels so much like Far Cry 3 and I've played 2-3 nights(5-10 hrs per sitting) of it and this really hasn't crabbed me in any way. Riding elephants and autogyros have really been the only new enjoyable things to me. The game is really really pretty though and the voice acting is really solid too. The world itself is kinda laughable, because there's animal attack waiting behind every hill or some random villager is going to plow through you with their crappy cars. So I kinda got bored of this really fast, but I think I'll finish this someday

Really enjoyable game, especially with friends and local co-op.

Finally finished the game. I had really hard time finishing this, which was the first time ever playing any of the AC-games. I've played every game in the series except AC Rogue. Syndicate is really beautiful and London is big and filled with shit-ton of chests... And boroughs to free, which got kinda boring. The playable characters Evie & Jacob Frye were interesting at the start but there really wasn't that much of character growth in the game. Every assassination mission was great fun but the targets were all kinda weak/underdeveloped. And the main antagonist' assassination under the Buckingham Palace was just weirdly weak. Just running past the "lazer"- blockades and tapping square four times with loading screens between. The game did crash four times but overall it didn't have nearly as much clitches as the AC games before. Also this time I really got angry multiple times because of the climbing/free running- mechanics. Syndicate is the ninth main game in the series and the the movement is still far away from smooth. Also the fighting mechanics were trying to mimic the Arkham-style but didn't manage to come even close to the smoothness of that.

I bought the Jack the Ripper dlc already since it looked really interesting. I hope that it recovers some of the lost "magic" for me.
*Jack the Ripper-dlc was really good storywise but had some problems running smoothly. The game froze up for 1-2 seconds mutiple times (almost every time when riding carriages).But overall this dlc was so good that I have to add half a star to the rating.

After this game I feel that Ubisoft made really great decision not to publish a new game in 2016.
