Spyro Reignited Trilogy - PlayStation 4
100% the first game of the trilogy. I played the first one a few hours back in the day but didn't own it. The gameplay is just like it was on the first Playstation. So the camera is still problem at times. There isn't any challenge in the gameplay but the game completion was fun nostalgic time.
Started the second game also which I have the strongest nostalgia for. I played it in 1999 or in 2000 but I can't really remember which Christmas we got it.

God of War - PlayStation 4
I liked the story a lot and the gameplay/fighting got better and better. At first the combat felt a bit clunky but after some improvements I started liking it more and more. The game is really beautiful and there are some epic moments in the battles. Bear McCreary's score is also fantastic and epic. I dropped the rating a bit (would have been 4,5 stars) because the camera started to really bother after the main story while finishing the side stuff like the Valkyries. And in the Valkyrie fights the camera was just awful at times.

Red Dead Redemption 2 - PlayStation 4
My GOTY for sure. I have been waiting for this game ever since finishing the first one. Arthur Morgan (almost instantly) became one of my all-time favorite characters in any media. I liked the gang and it's members quite a lot. The story was so good too and had some of the best hours of any game I've ever played.
I didn't really have any big glitches or stability issues with the game but there were some smaller ones that were mostly funny ones. There was really a lot of clipping and that bugged me because in a otherwise pretty game it just stuck out so badly.

Mad Max - PlayStation 4
Still playing this. Only technical problems I've had have been framerate drops, and they are pretty bad and happen quite often. The problems weren't there at the start but started to happen more often when I progressed more.
**Finished the main story and enough side stuff. The story was pretty good and there were some really good moments, like the airport scenes. The game's world is designed really nicely and fits the mad max films perfectly. The wasteland looks really good, the nights look like they do in Fury Road. The sandstorms are done really good and are one best weather effects in any game. I started having some sound glitches with the audio cutting out for some time before coming back. Also the frame rate drops kept happening too. This game had the Ubisoft open world problems with too much side stuff like enemy bases and collectibles and doing them started to get tedious and I just skipped them and focused on the main story. Overall the game was really good and enjoyable with minor problems and unnecessary amount of side stuff.

FIFA 19 - PlayStation 4
As someone who only basically plays this series for the Career Mode this years version doesn't offer anything new. The gameplay is improved though but there isn't that much new outside of that(some new licences like UCL for example).

Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package - PlayStation 4
Finally started playtrough of this. Already missing the psychopath-cutscenes. The game is also quite ugly looking. Atleast, Frank West is still funny even if he is played by a different actor in this. This version was pretty close to older Ash Williams and I liked that.
**Finished the game (main story), Frank West and his quips carried the story for me. Rest of the game was okay. The graphics were really ugly even in the cutscenes. The ending was okay now that Capcom Vancouver is shut down and the series on hiatus at least for some time.

Watch Dogs 2 - PlayStation 4
Trying to finish this now (before RDR 2)... The story is really not that interesting to me and I quit it first time quite fast. **Finished the game. The missions were way too repetitive and and near the end the stealth sections with the enemy having a hivemind dragged the rating down. The characters didn't work for me either (except the Dimebag Darrel- lookalike) I didn't really play the side stuff that much so the game didn't introduce me to them (mask guy had he's unmasking thing which had some nice character building cutscene after)and they just felt like caricatures of movie hackers and geeks and the villain was just awful even though the neck punch was probably the funnest part of the game. I didn't like the driving mechanics at all. And the city didn't have anything in it that would have tempted me to explore more outside the missions. It's quite nice looking game though.

Duplicate - PlayStation 4
This is really great game. Best parts: Facial animation and voiceacting in cutscenes, the combat system and swinging around Manhattan(which is recreated really well) and overall gameplay, the story was written good and this game has one of my favorite final battles. Bad parts: A few too many forced stealth scenes and hard crashes (I had 5 or 6 hard crashes that happened on menus only. However the saving system is so good that I didn't lose any progress) I didn't have any other bugs but now that I've seen some of them I wish I had experienced some of them in game.

Banner Saga 3 (PSN) - PlayStation Network
Finished the first playthrough... The choices and consequences. Lost some of my favorites game characters along the way to the end but managed to save a lot of people too. The visuals are so good again as is the score. The gameplay has had some additions as well. A great end to one of my favorite trilogies.

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition - PC Games
Playing currently.
**The two month break didn't help and I almost gave up playing this after restarting. The gameplay is so dated and boring as are the enviroments which means invisible walls etc. I'm still interested on the story though.

DOOM - PC Games
This was so good. 9 hours of killing demons while great music plays in the background. The weaponry and gameplay were great and the game was fun to play. You basically just have to keep moving if you like to stay alive in this.

Fallout 4 - PlayStation 4
Decided to play the DLC's finally. The game is still really unstable and has crashed 4 or 5 times already.
**Been playing the game and the Far Harbor stuff is interesting but the performance issues and constant crashing isn't that fun. The fog makes the game run like a slideshow at times. Exploring is really fun in this game still but the missions are way too repetitive.

Horizon Zero Dawn - PlayStation 4
Played The Frozen Wilds DLC. I had forgotten how good the game looks, especially the snowy environments of this DLC were so good. I liked the main game's OST really much and this DLC has some great music too in it.

Rocket League - PlayStation 4
I didn't really play this after last summer and I've gotten really rusty at it. I've played this every now and then this year.
hsallinen's rating:

Dragon Age: Inquisition - PlayStation 4
I finished playthrough number 6 of this game. This is one of my favorite game franchises and this is my favorite game of the series.
hsallinen's rating:

EA SPORTS UFC 3 - PlayStation 4
Fun one to play with friends. The G.O.A.T mode is also good addition to the game. The gameplay is also improved from the last one. There was some frame rate problems after I won the belt. The game was like a slideshow at times. Also some of the menus froze a few times and once I had to restart the game. There has been some updates since so the problems might've been fixed already.

Duplicate - PlayStation 4
Had to drop the rating after the grind started really to bother me. It really ruined the game which is a better version of Shadow of Mordor. The game mechanics are good. The Arkham-style fighting with wraith skills added. The camera is problem when there are tons of enemies around and your prompts don't show up. I really liked the siege fights but when you just have to repeat the same battles but the enemy gets stronger and you have to either buy better orcs, or train them or dominate some. This grind got really bothersome fast. And because I only used in game currency I had to watch so much of the simulated orc pit fighting to better the army. This kinda game design is so stupid. You got great game but then almost force players to buy loot boxes or get bored with the repeating gameplay grind. And it's shame because I liked the story quite a bit bedore the Shadow Wars part. I might take some time off from the game and finish the siege wars later.

Assassin's Creed: Origins - PlayStation 4
Still playing this:
+ The game is really beautiful
+ The playable characters are great and interesting
+ The soundtrack is great
+ The cutscenes have some trippy visual greatness on them
- The main quests / assassinations are great but the sidemissions haven't really impressed me.
- Egypt is so detailed but there's like 10 different npc faces outside the main story characters.
- This could be on the positive side too. There's those Ubisoft clitches that are just funny. Like birds flying straight to the pyramid walls and the continuing their flight animation on the wall sliding all over the place. Flying boats (twice now my boat has just been flung to the air after I've returned to it). Quest targets just bailing on you and swimming on the Nile towards some crocodiles and dying and not showing up in the cutscenes. But overall this game has had so much less of these clitches and it's been running smoothly.
- Loading times in between the scenes really messes up the flow of the nice cutscenes.
Finished The main story and most of the side stuff. The sidemissions are really repetitive so I just didn't want to finish the rest of them.

Mass Effect: Andromeda - PlayStation 4
Second full playthrough. There's still glitches, framerate issues(especially in the end game the game ran like a slideshow at times) and overall funny weirdness. Not as much as there used to be but still. Also this time the back and forth travelling between the planets got pretty tedious.
hsallinen's rating:

The Warriors - PlayStation 2
Downloaded to PS4. Tested some gameplay. Warriors is one of my favorite movies so the opening with the music and all kinda made me want to play it more. Had to stop though for some movies that I watched with my brother and cousin.
Canis Canem Edit - PlayStation 2
Downloaded to PS4. And tested some gameplay. I finally decided to play this Rockstar Games' game that I had passed because I didn't have a console/ I bought a next gen console.
PUBG: Battlegrounds - PC Games
Didn't play this for a few months and now have played some matches on the new map. Playing on the new map is once again really nerve wracking and intense.
hsallinen's rating:

It's better looking than the first one even with the flat graphics from the early to mid 2000's. Just like in the first game the characters are great and the story is good (the ending was rushed and felt like it too). The music of the game is fantastic again. These games reminded how bad the auto saving or lack of it was back then... There were few times when I almost quit after I lost like 25 mins of gameplay... and had to play it again.
