Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt - Famicom and NES
Came with the NES I got when I was four years old. Back then, Duck Hunt was the main appeal to me.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Famicom and NES
I remember being annoyed with the game for several reasons. For being a kids game, they really made it difficult. I hated that dam stage...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Arcade
My first experience experience at the arcade involved this game. Such a quarter muncher...
Much better than the original NES game. A lot more characters from the cartoon/comics.

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! - Famicom and NES
I remember my dad rented this when I was five. I thought it was funny seeing him stay up late to play it since he rarely played video games. Later on, my brother and I got it for Christmas and I got to enjoy it again. I have, sadly, never beat it.

River City Ransom - Famicom and NES
I also started playing RCR only because my parents rented it. It didn't have the recognizable cartoon characters on it, so I didn't care about it at first. When my brother and I finally got around to playing it, we were hooked. Throwing enemies in ditches and hitting each other with trashcans... it had everything we were looking for.

Final Fight - Arcade
Between TMNT sessions, I'd play Final Fight. The arcade cabinet was a little hard for six year old me to reach, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the life lessons it gave me. Hungry? Find a trash can!

Just a list of games that I remember playing a lot as a kid. Some of them I still play today. Listed chronologically from when I played them.
The list is basically complete. I'll be adding comments over the next couple days. I'll probably add a few more games if they come to mind.
