Film Journal - April, 2014

A really touching and sad film, with really great animation. The sequel, is pretty good.

One of my favorite Quentin Tarantino films, I especially liked the action packed fight sequences.

The last thing a biopic about a interesting famous person, should be is boring, dull, and derivative.

Unfortunately, this film all of these things. Pirates of the Silicon Valley, which is a vastly underrated movie, is definitely worth checking out.

Heck, your also better off watching The Social Network, instead as well.

An awesome, and action packed movie, filled with giant monsters and robots.

 

Not as good as the first film, but it has it's moments.

If you are going to see one, odd, crazy, Nicholas Cage film, by all means, make it this one.

 

Gory, dark, depressing, but yet oddly moving. It's all of these things and more. Be afraid, be very afraid.

An off kiltered, mix between a law room drama, and supernatural thriller, and strangely enough, it works.

Thanks mostly, to Pacino's wonderfully over the top performance, and a creepy atmosphere.

A wonderful and beautiful, odd movie, and one of my favorite Johnny Depp films.

 

Not a very easy film, to watch, if anything I felt like having a long, cold shower after seeing the movie.

 

It literally had me, at Tom Waits and a bunny rabbit.

It's a pretty ok, if not somewhat over rated film, the soundtrack however is great.

 

One of my favorite film, from the 90's, and it's way better than the sequel.

It's an okay film, not nearly as the first film. If Anchorman is like Ghostbusters, then Anchorman 2, is like Ghostbusters 2, adequately decent at times.

 

A dark and brutal movie, that is just as good as the original movies.

Sadly, the final two films may never get remade as well.

 

A surprisingly pretty okay movie, however Adventures In Babysitting, which has basically the same plot, is the better movie.

One of my favorite films, from the 80's, I enjoy watching the movie whenever I can.

Before there was Avatar, there was Ferngully. I liked both film, Ferngully slightly more than Avatar.

Robin Williams, is really great in the film, too.

It could have been so much better, but however sadly wasn't the case.

For me, Frank Langella totally stole the movie, over all.

A pretty decent conclusion to the series, and also slightly better than the second film.

A dark, and very much underrated movie. I really liked the karaoke scene in the film, especially.

A pretty great and underrated movie. One question, why isn't Dolph Lungred a bigger action star?

I'm not sure if I ever been so excited, about seeing a film, then disappointly let down so badly, after seeing it. It is action packed, I give it that much.

A really solid, action packed film, that's worth checking out.

 

While Dante's Peak is the better of two, Volcano is a pretty decent film. Plus, it's the first film, I remember seeing one of my favorite actors, Don Cheadle in.

It's a great film, with a great cast, and also a great soundtrack.

Of all of the Muppets films, this one is one of my favorites.

As far as recent zombie films go, it's a pretty ok movie

The soundtrack is really great, and it's definitely a film worth checking out.

Plus it's also, one of the first films, that I remembered seeing one of my favorite actors, Joe Pantoliano in.

 

A very much underrated film, and one of my favorite Johnny Depp movies.

Yet another one of my favorite films, from the 80's, and one that I enjoy watching over and over, again.

A beautiful and oddly strange movie, and one of my favorite David Lynch films.

 

A great film, with a great performance by Woody Harrelson, in it.

A great documentary and concert film, about the final concert by the band, The Band.

Seriously, if you haven't seen it yet, then what are you waiting for?

While not one of my favorite James Bond films, it's still a pretty great movie.

A great to a really great series, and one worth checking out again.

 

Of all of the Harry Potter films, this one would have to be one of my favorites.

Finally, gotten around to seeing it, it's a great film, with great acting and soundtrsck.

 

I love cheesy 80's action films, and this is by far one of the best cheesy action films of all time.

 

Sort of a cross between Harry Potter and Twilight, only more mind bendingly colossally entertainingly bad.
