Kick-Ass 2 (2013)

Watched on the 21st.

Amazing! Not sure which Kick Ass I liked the most however this one definitely kicked ass as well.
Was loving the edition of a million new characters, freshens it up a bit I guess. All the action and gore are still there which I was happy about(Glad it wasn't dumbed down for the masses like other now-PG-13 action movies!) and there's some funny parts still, especially with all the new guys.
Jim Carrey's character was epic and made a great mentor for the rookies. Can't beleive they killed him off :( stupid Mother Russia.
I really enjoyed this movie and already want to see it again! It also takes the crown for the my favourite movie of 2013 so far!

Was hoping this would be better, found it to be a bit of a disappointment and a let down to be honest. All the characters give good erformances and are convincing most of the time, it's just the movie dragged and I found myself bored in quite a few parts.

The Magnificent Seven (1960)

Watched on the 12th.

Another good western, a great cast and cool story forms this one. The story is really random and cool, some random village gets 7 badass gunslingers to defend it from 'the Ugly'.

Mean Streets (1973)

Watched on the 5th/12th.

Watched this in two halves, simply because I had to go out mid way through.
A decent movie, Robert De Niro giving a great performance as always and a powerful main performance from Harvey Keitel.
It makes for a really cool gangster flick, great style and mood throughout the film.

Think this is the second John Wayne film I've seen, not as good as The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, the other of his films I've seen, just didn't find it as interesting or action packed.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969)

Watched on the 1st.

Quality western, really enjoyed this film, some good action scenes and some decent banter like jokes between the two main characters, which all makes for an enjoyable action packed movie with a good story.

Saw this on that manly movies list that's knocking around here and thought it looked interesting. Have to say I enjoyed it, over the top action with Arnie beating the crap out of a load of bad guys, what's not to like.
