Name: Megan O'Hara
Portrayed by: Julie Warner
Appeared: Season 1, recurring; 2 & 4

Story line/Operation: Megan first comes to the clinic with her husband, wanting to have breast implants after losing hers for breast cancer. Sean and Megan connect and they later meet again, when Sean goes to see her about his neck problems since Megan works as a chiropractor. They fell in love and begin an affair.

Name: Escobar Gallardo
Portrayed by: Robert LaSardo
Appeared: Seasons 1 & 4, recurring; 2, 5 & 6

Story line/Operation: Escobar first appears in the pilot episode, introduced as the boss of McNamara/Troy patient Silvio Perez. Silvio and his brother come to Sean McNamara and Christian Troy to undergo surgery that would enable him to "get some ladies." Sean and Christian later find out that Silvio not only works for a drug dealer, but that he also molested Escobar's 6-year-old daughter. Christian later goes to a "botox party," where he meets Escobar, who reveals that he is the druglord for whom Silvio works.

Escobar shows up in the operating room with his henchman, only to discover that Silvio's brother, Alejandro, has already murdered Silvio (by an anesthesia overdose) in order to protect his own daughter (Silvio's niece). Afterwards, Sean and Christian tie pieces of ham to Silvio's body, and leave it in a swamp, to be devoured by alligators.

Escobar later appears many times to blackmail Sean and Christian. He also appears often in Sean's hallucinations.

Name: Sofia Lopez
Portrayed by: Jonathan Del Arco

Name: Joel Gideon
Portrayed by: Doug Savant

Story line/Operation: Joel Gideon is a patient whose love of danger in mountain-climbing caused him to get such bad frost bite that a facial zone including his nose is now dead tissue, and is determined to return to the same mountain after his reconstructive surgery.

Story line/Operation: Ava Moore was introduced at the beginning of season two as a life coach who is hired by plastic surgeon Sean McNamara to "motivate" his emotionally distant wife Julia into becoming a better wife to him. Sean's attraction to Ava blinds him to who she truly is: a devious, sociopathic sexual predator who targets and exploits the emotionally weak in order to manipulate them for her own amusement.

Ava begins a relationship with Matt, which creates conflict. It is later revealed that she was actually born as a male, and has had sex reassignment surgery. At the end of season 2 McNamara/Troy strike a deal in which they would help arrange for Moore to complete the final surgery on Ava's genitals in exchange for Ava breaking off her relationship with Matt.
drugs's rating:

Name: Natasha Charles
Portrayed by: Rebecca Gayheart
Appeared: Season 2

Story line/Operation: Natasha Charles is an unusual patient- her whole body is attractive, but since birth her eyes are blind, covered with a 'scary' white-blue membrane, as Christian puts it when she asks him to make her attractive to him, so the doctors operate to implant artificial eyes from an expert. Afterward Christian follows her when he hears she has an Internet date, finds out that's a blind man who still asks him whether she's attractive and even dumps her when he lies she's much older; so he's happy to fill in and enjoys sex with a woman who can't be after his gorgeous body.

Name: Corporal Oliver Brandt
Portrayed by: Bryce Johnson
Appeared: Season 3

Story line/Operation: A solder from Iraq comes and asks to have his war wounds fixed. Quentin is up for the job, but Quentin also seduces the young man and Sean walks in on them.

Name: Shari Noble
Portrayed by: Melissa Gilbert
Appeared: Season 4

Story line/Operation: Shari comes to the clinic claiming that one of her nipples has been torn off by a pet dog, which has a more subtle cause than she admits to.

ADDITIONAL COMMENT: I have to say that this is one of the weirdest plot lines I've ever seen. Shari Noble wasn't really one of my favorites as a character but this story is just so sick, that I had to include her here.

Name: Dr. Faith Wolper
Portrayed by: Brooke Shields
Appeared: Season 4

Story line/Operation: Faith Wolper is first introduced as Christian's psychiatrist. Christian has sex with her on her desk and it is revealed that Faith has an addictive personality, and she requests removal surgery on a tattoo displaying the name of a former lover. Following its removal, she gets Christian's name tattooed in its place.
drugs's rating:

Later, after sympathizing with her loss, Sean revealed that he had given the wrong ashes to the wife and gave the real ones to Diana Lubey.

Here's a list as a tribute to all the patient stories that make Nip/Tuck even more bizarre and interesting.

Beware, there are some graphic pictures here.

SPOILERS AHEAD You have been warned.

Nip/Tuck often has a very nice variety of guest stars, usually as patients. Some of them have really been quite great. Some of these are here because the story lines are just bizarre, and I wanted to mention them.

I haven't seen season 5 and 6 yet (except one episode from season 6) so I'll continue this list when I have seen the latest seasons.
