Hugh Jackman plays vigilante monster hunter Gabriel Van Helsing who teams with Anna Valerious(Kate Beckinsale)to defeat Count Dracula and his three hot brides who are reeking havoc on a small Transylvanian town.
In the late Tony Scott's adaptaion of Whitley Strieber's book of the same title, Catherine Deneuve plays Miriam Blaylock, a beautiful and dangerous immortal vampire, promising specially chosen humans eternal life as her vampire lovers in this modern vampire tale. I really enjoyed this 80's film which opens in a night club in New York to a live performance from Bauhaus, although I think the book is still far superior.
