I remember really liking the film and also liked that the main character's sexuality was rather inconsequential to the story. However, I was quite doped up on pain killers at the time so I don't really trust my memory of the film. Worthy of re-watching soon.

I really wasn't expecting that much with Ryan Kwanten playing the main character. Thanks to watching way too many episodes of "The Twilight Zone" dolls and puppets have always been pretty creepy to me. So, this film was a nice surprise in a creepy horror film kind of way. jaytoast's rating:

Strange to see that you didn't watch Death Proof but DID watch Planet Terror. You know they're meant to be watched together, right? (If you have Blu-ray, I highly recommend you rent/buy a copy of Grindhouse now that it's been released in its entirety.)

And the giraffe is right, at the beginning, there was no Death Proof or Planet Terror, just Grindhouse. For all those years, I have been boycotting both movies because I first want to watch Grindhouse (I know I'm a very obsessive person...). Finally, it is available in Blue-Ray.... but only in the US! Not in Europe.... Will I see this movie 1 day ?!? Who knows... The best part of the joke is that I'm not even sure I will really enjoy it....
Just saw "Rogue" last night which was not bad at all and "Grindhouse" which was pretty fun !
