there was one particular short- a family having to live out of the back of their car- that touched me because I had just found out that one of my classmates had 'disappeared' from school only to discover that his family was going through similar hardships.

How I miss the '80s and '90s...
“Nowadays, cartoons are either bad(Shaggy and Scooby Doo:Get a Clue) or good shows now mediocre(Pokemon and Spongebob Squarepants). At 17, I adore Animaniacs, it is a very funny and witty show. Although Disney silly Symphonies, Hanna Barbera and Looney Tunes had their fair share of classics, I feel that the best shows came from the late '80s and early '90s, naturally the ones that shaped my childhood. Where are shows like Animaniacs, Darkwing Duck, Talespin, Peter Pan and the Pirates, DuckTales, Batman:The Animated Series, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Little Mermaid, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Pinky and the Brain and Pirates of Dark Water when you need them?Back to Animaniacs, the show is very well animated, with vibrant co” read more
