“I have noticed that many classic movies starring Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy are available on YouTube and since I loved these guys so much when I was a kid, I thought it would be the opportunity to rediscover their work. This short was, at the time, so popular that they would make a sequel the next year called 'Tit for Tat' (which I will probably watch soon as well). Anyway, how was the damned thing after all? Well, the first thing I thought was that there was so much going on that they could have easily extended the running time. "Per curare la gotta di Ollio, i nostri vanno in campagna fermandosi nei pressi di un pozzo in cui un gruppo di moonshiners si è sbarazzato del whisky illegali: prevedibili le conseguenze. Comica benissimo orchestrata che parte piano e sale via via di tono fino all'epico scontro con il signor Hall a base di melassa. Nella vicenda si fa notare un modello di roulotte anni Trenta, ma rimane indimenticabile soprattutto la gag dell' "acqua ferrugginosa"."
