A typical English accent comedy. Not for everyone.

A typical English accent comedy. Not that everyone gonna enjoys if they are addicted to American style comedies. No need to worry, within first 20 or so minutes you gonna find comfortable with what's going on the film. The movie was based on the character Alan Partridge, from the famous British television show of the 90s.

The movie tells the story of the North Norfolk station's... read more

Not the best comedy ever made

'Alan Partidge' is a good comedy but could do without some scenes of dullness. It had some pretty good chuckles but they could've cut out some of the most boring minutes and I would've liked it more. Not the best comedy ever made.

A good movie

I wasn't really sure what to expect from this flick but since I have a weak spot for Steve Coogan, I thought I might as well check it out. To be honest, I have to admit that I wasn't really familiar with Alan Partridge, I think this character is probably famous only in the UK, but I was still able to enjoy the damned thing nonetheless. Indeed, it was really neat to see Coogan playing the lead for ... read more

A good movie

“I wasn't really sure what to expect from this flick but since I have a weak spot for Steve Coogan, I thought I might as well check it out. To be honest, I have to admit that I wasn't really familiar with Alan Partridge, I think this character is probably famous only in the UK, but I was still able to enjoy the damned thing nonetheless. Indeed, it was really neat to see Coogan playing the lead for once and the guy was really entertaining playing Partridge, a character he has been playing apparently for many years. The rest of the cast was not bad but they were usually reduced to some one-note jokes. Concerning the story itself, well, it is always tricky to expand a popular character from 30 minutes sketches to a full length feature format and, in this case, they got away with it but only ba” read more

"Steve Coogan's infamous character makes his big screen debut in a hilarious tale of the radio station that Alan works at coming under siege from a former disgruntled DJ and only Alan can save the day. Full of Partridge's classic lines and cringing moments, it's the best TV spin-off since In The Loop and deserves much more recognition than it received. an absolute hoot from start to finish and the best use of Cuddly Toy by Roachford ever."
