“To be honest, I wasnโt really sure what to expect from this flick but, since there was a solid cast involved and since it was available on Disney+, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, as usual, I didn't know much about it before watching the damned thing but I wish I knew even less before it started. I thought it turned out to be some kind of a thriller but it was ultimately described as a horror feature which was probably indeed more accurate. Anyway, the end-result was such a massive middle-finger to all the vapid foodies, the super-wealthy who are the only one who can afford such restaurants and the so-called artists/chefs running such places. Best Movies of 2022 (44 movies items)" Director: His 5th Movie My 1st movie watched from the director This is a movie I can't seem to get out of my head. The imagery and tone hit hard. I'm thankful for knowing nothing about it going in. Fiennes continues to quietly be one of the all-time great actors and the rest of the cast is importantly strong to make any of the ridiculousness believable.
