The Autopsy of Jane Doe update feed
" Watched October 15th Rating: Hilariously, I tried to watch this movie over lunch, as if it where not clearly stated right there in the title that it is a movie about an autopsy. It was a disgusting, challenging experience but I'm a stubborn fool so I didn't even just pause the movie for 10 minutes to finish. I finished right before he said the part about gastrointestinal examination, perfect timing. What a cool idea for a film- a truly scary concept, something that is so easy to imagine"
"Re-watch - Oct. 31st "I was working in the lab late one night / When my eyes beheld an eerie sight / For my monster from his slab began to rise / And suddenly to my surprise" Ok, so Jane Doe doesn't actually rise from her slab, but I thought it fit well enough. She's definitely full of surprises. I was very impressed when I caught this in the theatre, and it was just as powerful watching it at home alone in the dark. If you haven't seen this and are into horror, you need to seek it out immediat"

" Showtime- 1hr. 28min. First Viewing Had the whole of The Autopsy of Jane Doe been as strong as the first half, then the film would've been one of the best indie-thrillers of recent memory. Instead, the last half becomes something closer to your standard horror ending (slasher-lite), and deflates so much of the tension and intrigue that the film builds up in the beginning. It's still an often thrilling film, with strong performances and great technical work, but it's hard not to be disappointed "
"This film managed to creep me out couple of times which was the first in a long time (the first Conjuring probably.) and overall the atmosphere is so good in this film. Also Emile Hirsch and Brian Cox were great together as father and son."
" A horror movie from the director of Trollhunter? Say no more."
"I had heard good things about this and I liked Trollhunter so I had high hopes for this. And this didn't dissappoint. The setting was great and creepy itself. The mortuary turned into a claustrophobic setting during the run time and then secluded the main characters from help or easy way out of the situation and that works always in horror. "
" First Viewing Viewing Date: March 26th Via: Google Play Plot: A father and son, both coroners, are pulled into a complex mystery while attempting to identify the body of a young woman, who was apparently harboring dark secrets."
"First viewing - Feb. 4th A few years back there was this little movie you may have heard of called Trollhunter that was a fresh dose of found footage filmmaking and a complete joy to behold. The director returns with this film, delivering a straight-up horror flick that takes its cues from some of the best horror filmmakers in the business & delivers the goods. Suspenseful, creepy, and consistently entertaining, I was engrossed for the entire run-time & left the theatre deeply satisfied. There "
