"First viewing - Oct. 9th Slice is an oddball of a film, and one you have to be willing to meet on its own terms. It's very much a B movie, and while I never fell in love with it I did appreciate it more often than not. The humor was hit and miss for me, but at least when it hit I dug it. The effects could be better, and yet the simplicity of them is kinda charming. I mostly appreciated the subtle handling of the themes which fully emerge in the film's final moments in a rewarding enough way. I'"
