“I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but since there was a decent cast involved, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, it is basically a rather obscure movie Sean Connery made after his very successful run as James Bond and, to be honest, it wasn’t really good, I’m afraid. In fact, I actually loved the idea of Connery playing in a Western and he was not bad but, on the other hand, I wasn’t so convinced by Brigitte Bardot. I mean, sure, I have to admit that she did look gorgeous but that’s pretty much the only thing she provided, being pretty on the screen. Of course, you could blame her acting but, to be honest, they didn’t give her much to do. Concerning the story, there was also some potential here but it was also rather poorly developed.
