"8.1.2022 Olen tässä kuluneen syksyn ja talven aikana katsonut muutaman Richard Pryorin keikkatallenteen. Pryor oli nauttimansa huikean arvostuksen ja suosion tähden ollut tutustumislistallani jo vuosikausia, mutta vasta nyt olen saanut aikaiseksi perehtyä hänen tuotantoonsa. Richard Pryor on erittäin mielenkiintoinen tapaus. Toisaalta keikoilla on valtavasti todella yksinkertaista kirosana- & solvausläppää, joka suunnilleen kenen tahansa muun esittämänä olisi lähinnä vaivaannutta"
