To be honest, it is a rather obscure movie but since I have always been a big fan of the great Philip Seymour Hoffman, I was really eager to check it out. On top of that, it was dealing with a fascinating subject, compulsive gambling, and, even though this movie doesn’t seem to have a stellar reputation, I think it might be the best movie I have seen dealing with this subject. " Director: Richard Kwietniowski His 2nd Movie My 1st movie watched from the director What starts as a movie about a gambling addiction turns into a movie about actually owning the addiction and having no pleasure out of life other than in those moments of big gambles. A movie with several strong performances but so glad I got to see another incredible performance by the late P.S. Hoffman.
