“To be honest, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but it was rather late and I wanted to watch something short and since it was available on Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, even though I have a weak spot for Topher Grace, the damned thing was still rather weak, I’m afraid. Indeed, right from the start, the concept was just too flimsy and, eventually, you might wonder who was supposed to be the audience for this movie. "This was not a particularly fun comedy, but Taye Diggs is a star and if this was just him being charismatic as hell on screen, doing sexy dance numbers, it'd be a five star movie. Instead it's that only like... 5% of the time."

" Netflix- 1hr. 24min. First Viewing Opening Night boasts an impressive cast and a fun premise, but squanders both with a poor script and shoddy filmmaking. This is a film that goes down the path of least resistance in every single plot point; for characters to dialogue to plot, leading to a cheap and lazy film. With a decent script and enough energy, this could've been a fun little film. As is, don't waste you time."
