" Lolita is a 1997 drama film directed by Adrian Lyne and written by Stephen Schiff. “I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but since it was the last movie directed by Adrian Lyne that I hadn’t seen so far, I was actually quite eager to check it out, in spite of its rather notorious reputation. The tricky thing with this movie, and the previous version or the book, is that it deals with such a cringe-inducing story and, after all these years, it still remains one of the most disturbing tales. Eventually, it is the kind of movies that make you feel really dirty while you are watching it and also afterwards because it is pretty much a reminder that men are essentially wired to have sex with anything that moves.
