Description: L'Auberge Espagnole is a captivating French film about an industrious young man's experiences abroad in Barcelona and his recognition of his unity with others. A very good movie

“Between 2000 and 2001, I spent a year in Cambridge as an exchange student with the Erasmus program. Back then, I spent a year in the local YMCA living with some other students from all over Europe and I had a real blast. The very next year, I found out that Cédric Klapish was coming up with a movie about a French guy spending a year as an Erasmus student in Barcelona so, of course, I really had to see the damned thing and I really loved it. Indeed, the first half was just pitch-perfect. Seriously, everything described by the main character was exactly like I remembered it and it brought back some really sweet memories. I especially liked the fact that all the characters were played by some actors coming from the same country as their character which was something actually rather unique. I” read more
