'Ivanhole' is good for most of the movie but has a boring end, there is a pretty good cast (Robert Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Fontaine, George Sanders, Emlyn Williams, Robert Douglas, Finlay Currie, Felix Aylmer) and the sets are amazing but eventually I just got really bored, it is still a decent movie though, no doubt about that

(OK) Thorpe had his best cycle in this classis adventures. Here's gallantry and its code besides everything else, the ellegance doesn't sacifice ation: tha main battle ans castle assault in the middle and the multiple duel, are excellent...

Still, I was always intrigued by this other story which was probably the most famous book written by Scott. Well, unfortunately, I really had a hard time to care about the damned thing after all.
