INKHEART a movie created from the same titled young adult novel by cornelia funke--in the dvd extras--a favorite passage of the author that wasn't included in the movie is read aloud by 12-year- old eliza bennett who plays meggie in the film. Nowadays, every time they try to adapt a fantasy novel, the studios involved always hope they will get the next huge franchise like Harry Potter. This, for example, was the first book of a trilogy but I guess we won't see the other books adapted anytime soon, Personally, I would blame Brendan Fraser, but that's me... BradWesley123's Movie Journal- September 2017 (29 movies items)" HBO Now- 1hr. 46min. First Viewing It starts too quickly, and never really reaches the peak of it's clearly high ambitions (probably budgetary concerns), but Inkheart is a surprisingly fun little film with an ace premise that carries the film even in it's weaker moments.
